No One Can Hear Me is an artwork based on the topic depression.
The character in this story suffers from depression and is constantly in a fight with himself everyday. No one can hear the voice in his mind except for him. He tried to reached out for help but was taken lightly. In the end, he learned to wear a mask and hide his emotions with a smile. The black dog in this story is a metaphorical representation of depression and acts as a symbol to show moods and thoughts that are hard to communicate.
This project aims to raise awareness and shine light on the underrated topic -- depression so that more people could take this illness seriously and tried to be more understanding towards people around them.
